Ray King (Glasser) has been involved in radio since age 12, in 1960. That Spring, Ray and some his friends went on the radio on a small 50-watt AM station in Mayfield Hts., Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. The station was called WMFH (for Mayfield Heights), and was at the bottom of the AM dial at 540 kh. The boys played rock and roll/Top 40 music, and they were on the air from April until late August of 1960.
